V. 0.2 Release


As promised, before the end of the day I've released the latest update. There's been some big changes!  I'll shortly be putting up a poll on my Patreon in which you can vote on what I should work on next (apart from the inevitable bug fixes that I know I will have missed despite testing as much as I could) Here's an extract from the in game change log.:

+ Due to an issue I have removed the conditional gating on Lyra's feeding sessions for now to make the gameplay loop work - hoping I can get this working but I'm running out of time to work on it for now so enjoy the limiting of restrictions haha.

+ As a work around for there currently not being a way to earn money, I've put 50 Shards in the fountain that you can find randomly by wandering the city. Each time you encounter you will get 50 Shards. This will stay in the game once I implement a way to earn money by other means - but I'll tone it down. 50 quid is a fair haul of money to find lying in a fountain!

+ You can now give Lyra gifts - currently only food items are available as I've not implemented the rest of the economy yet. I've possibly set the weighting on what giving her gifts does to her stats a little high, feedback would be much appreciated so I know if I need to tone it down a bit. Or up for the relationship progress tracking. It might be possible for her to gain faster than she's happy with - if you keep chatting to her you should be able to get her relationship level up to a point that she'll accept food again. 

+ Updated the navigation system - It <strong> shouldn't </strong> be possible to get stuck in the menus anymore. 

+ Added a couple of scenes with Lyra's feelings about gaining weight at a couple of stages

+ Added a couple of tiny little scenes with Delilah based on the player's weight

+ With the introduction of purchasable food the player can now consume this from their inventory and increase weight, though currently, this does nothing except track a variable for player weight that appears on the character page. Although I suppose if you eat enough that you hit the 200lb threshold Delilah will stop trying to feed you with free honey cakes.

+ We now have a (sort of) economy - added items to Delilah's food stall for purchase. I say sort of as there is currently no way to actually earn more money until a future update (don't worry, I've got an interim plan in place to deal with that)

+ Added a tracker to the sidebar to show how much money you have. The currency of Eldorin is the Eldorin Shard (Shards)

+ Made a small change where after the player selects a profession Thaddeus will give them a bit of walking around money

+ Gave Lyra generic greetings for the player for each relationship level

+ Added art for Lyra's several weight stages (and replaced her test images) including a special one for the end of her (current) story.

+ Added code that will increase Lyra's weight with each feeding session, at gated weight thresholds her cup size will increase.

+ Gated Lyra's feeding sessions behind relationship and weight thresholds

+ Added a special scene for the current end of Lyra's relationship arc when she is at both max relationship level and max weight. 

+ Added a system to track Lyra's weight and breast size

+ Wrote feeding scences for Lyra at various levels of relationship progress - I may go back to them later to customise them for different weight levels

+ Added Chatting with Lyra for various levels of relationship progress

+ Added relationship progress tracking and progress for Lyra and Thaddeus (though Thaddeus has yet to make a return appearance as yet the system is now in place)

+ Added a discount to the food stall for Farmers and merchants, added a discount on buying at the other two shops for merchants, added a boost to selling prices at the Trading Post for merchants.

+ Added a bit of flavour text to conversations with Delilah if you are a farmer

+ Added some scenes with Rorik the general trader - Rorik will respond differently to the player based on your appearance/gender options

+ Added debug menu options to speed up testing efficiency

+ Fixed an issue with case sensitive file systems not displaying images correctly

+ Added some exploration of the city of Dawn's Edge that the player can engage in. Mostly flavour text just now but they may be used later in development.

+ Added player discovery of the 3 shops that will be on offer within the city of Dawn's Reach.

+ Modied how you look at other characters - instead of being a clickable in-line image now you select the "look at X" passage header and get taken to a passage specifically for that character that will show you an image of them and a brief physical description. This will be largely separate from the relationships tracker but once implemented weightgain/transformations will be included here in the images and descriptions.

+ Added meeting Delilah the food seller, added Delilah to the Relationships menu (though that's more just to track that you've met her - there's no real interaction planned with her beyond merchant)

+ Added meeting Magnus the magic dealer, added Magnus to the Relationships menu (though that's more just to track that you've met him - there's no real interaction planned with him beyond merchant)

+ Added meeting with Rorik the general trader, added Rorik to the Relationships menu (though that's more just to track that you've met him - there's no real interaction planned with him beyond merchant)

+ Added scenes where you can return to the 3 shops and have a slightly different experience than the first time you visit with the three shop keepers recognising you. 

+ Added a scene where you can return to Lyra's Apothecary

+ Fixed an issue where the City exploration wasn't randomising correctly and you could still randomly "discover" the 3 shops for the first time multiple times. 

+ Added some discussions with two of the three merchants. I think I have to say, so far, Delilah is my favourite character. Such a joy to write. Her enthusiasm is infectious.

+ Added a small scene where if the player weighs less than 200lbs Delilah will feed them - sort of. Its not a feeding scene. You get a free honeycake and what will probably be your first inventory item and player weightgain experience!

<h2>Version 0.1C </h2>

+ Partially sorted out the hair formatting on the character page - got fed up trying to get the out puts all on one line

+ Added more descriptions to some of the other body parts

+ Added a return button to the menu items

+ Partially wrote the introduction for Master Thaddeus - there's a test image for him you can click on his name to reveal. 

+ Added relationship menu after being introduced to Master Thaddeus

+ Added headings to important passages - they will appear on most passages going forwards.

+ Tweaked the Relationship page

+ Added introductory questions you can ask your Mentor on first meeting him

+ Added a player's starting weight based on height - its probably BS and doesn't match with reality but its a start until I properly implement a system and body types etc.

+ Fixed the hair styles issue (almost by accident!) after finding the fix for another passage that was more straight forward but had the same problem.

+ Added background images to the introductions for Thaddeus and Lyra - though still needs formatting to get them displaying correctly. I've done a quick and dirty "fix" for now by adding unnecessary line breaks up to 35 lines per page. It's not pretty and its not ideal but it gets the job done for now. 

+ Added a variable that tracks who is speaking - I may play around with this later to have dynamic font/style changes depending on who is speaking but for now its just a quick and dirty way to know who is speaking to you - it may look a little cumbersome but the Script style of prefacing speech with the speaker's name is largely so its obvious who is speaking and later should help make it smoother altering the styles when I come to implement that.

+ Added a Feeding test scene to the "hidden" Debug menu

+ First Public release

* Should have started this before now to document what's been done so far

+ Added Variables Test menu item to test various variables. This will be removed for public releases

+added title, sub title, banner image, Title image to the first page and a test page to the Meet Your Mentor page

+ Added a menu item to show your character details - it needs more work still
