V 0.3 Release - Chapter 3 - Weightcraft
Ahead of schedule because I fixed some issues that have been bogging me down ahead of expected resolution time and decided to push some of the things I'm working on into V0.4 - speaking of which I'm thinking of calling updates chapters from now on - so if that fits well Chapter 4 will be Fleshcrafting. Here's the highlights of what's new for Chapter 3 - Weightcrafting (newest at the top)
+ Added Aurelia Stormcaller to the game - with all the enhancements I've made to Lyra since version 0.2. She can be found in the Wandering Wyvern tavern in Dawn's Edge.
+ Added a couple of items to the magic shop - I don't want to give away everything here but they do have a use.
+ Revamped the character page - its now much more descriptive. When available, you can use Weightcraft magic on yourself in the new "Modify Body" section of the character screen.
+ At certain levels of Weightcrafting expertise you can manipulate your own weight to varying degrees - either raising or lowering it. The amount you can alter it depends on your proficiency level.
+ Added the ability to purchase/sell mana potions at the Arcane Emporium
+ Implemented Weightcraft Magic system
+ Artisans can now purchase art supplies at the Trading Post to create art work to sell at a profit in order to earn a living. You can also gift your art to Lyra for a significant increase in her relationship progress.
+ Farmers can now "farm" in the Wilderness and find resources that can be sold at Delilah's Food Stall in order to earn a living. All your farmed plants can be sold in one transaction for convenience.
+ Hunters can now hunt in the Wilderness and find resources that can be sold at the Trading Post in order to earn a living. All your hunting spoils can be sold in one transaction for convenience.
+ Merchants should be able to earn a living buying and selling at the shops
+ Blacksmiths can now purchase crafting materials at the Trading Post to create items to sell at a profit in order to earn a living.
+ Added reunion with Thaddeus and beginning your instruction as a Weight Crafting mage
+ You can now leave the city of Dawn's Edge
+ Economy implemented
+ Added a button to the menu to email me directly any bug reports/little errors that need correcting.
+ Removed background images - they were proving too cumbersome for what they offered and ultimately proved to be not worth the hassle. Instead most passages will have an option to "Look Around" where you can have some art and a brief description of the scene (unless the passage is mostly descriptive anyway, such as the random city scenes).
+ Made a few small formatting changes to try tighten things up a bit, and for consistency tweaked all the dialogue passages to appear the same (unless I missed any)
