Prologue Release


If I'd realised how quickly I'd have been able to knock up the prologue and have it fully playable I wouldn't have bothered with a teaser yesterday!  But here it is, the prologue is complete and fully playable. 

There's no weight gain in the game yet - though I assure you that is coming.  But the prologue is feature and story complete. For now. I'm toying with the idea of adding fully voiced characters and sound effects but still looking into how to do that from an asset creation point of view - seems pretty straightforward to implement. 

The release model will be aligned to chapters within the game, with an "it'll be ready when its ready" approach. I don't want to tie myself into saying a new update every month - I don't think that does anyone any favours. I'll either be under pressure to get things done or have things incomplete or both. So the next update will be when chapter one is finished. Anyone's guess when that will be but if the prologue development is anything to go by I'm hoping soon. I've done a lot of work over the last month or so to get it to this point so I was able to bash out the prologue in a day. And I've got a week off work to mess around with this in.
